Join Nemours Children’s Health at the Orlando Science Center for an Un-BEAR-ably Fun Weekend of Health Education

Teddy Bear Affair

November 13 - 14, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Dr. Dare’s Lab at Orlando Science Center

 

WHO:              Nemours Children's Health will be hosting a teddy bear clinic in Dr. Dare's Lab at Orlando Science Center. This collaboration helps children and families have fun educational opportunities that can benefit long-term health and wellness.   

 

WHAT:             Visitors are invited to bring their teddy bears, or teddy bears will be provided, for a check-up to make sure their special friend is in tip-top shape. Nemours Children’s Health will offer a variety of activities from Specialty Care departments that include Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Radiology, ENT and more!

 

WHY:               This event helps teach children about the importance of health and wellness and makes them more comfortable with visiting a medical professional, both inside and outside of a healthcare setting. 

 

COST:              This event is included in admission to Orlando Science Center, which is FREE for members*, $21 for adults, $19 for seniors and students, and $15 for youth (ages 2 – 11). Tickets include access to all four floors of exhibits, giant-screen and 3D educational films, and live programming. Tickets are available online only at www.osc.org/tickets

NOTE:              While in attendance, all guests are asked to please follow social distancing guidelines and wash or disinfect hands frequently. To limit the transmission of germs Orlando Science Center will require face coverings for all visitors ages 3 and up, regardless of vaccination status.
