VIDEO AVAILABLE: Spreading holiday cheer: Window washers dress up as Santa and the elves to surprise patients at Nemours Children’s Hospital

Editor’s Note: Video interviews, B-roll available for download

Orlando, Fla. (Dec. 14, 2020) – Acute care patients at Nemours Children’s Hospital got a special holiday surprise when Santa and his elves appeared outside their hospital room windows.

The window washers from A-1 Orange Exterior Building Services dressed up to brighten the holidays for young patients. While soaping up the windows, they wrote holiday messages and drew Christmas trees, hearts, and silver bells, which brought out smiles and laughter on the other side of the glass. The patients and family members enjoyed a little levity during their hospital stay.
