Wilmington, DE – December 18, 2018-- Med-Tex Services, Inc. helped pediatric patients get in the holiday spirit by taking a trip to Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, where both Santa Claus and an Elf rappelled off the front of the building. Once on the ground, Santa and his Elf joined a holiday party and visited patients and families in the hospital's Atrium.
Rappelling Santa is sponsored by the Nemours IPD Infrastructure team, which is a collaborative construction alliance between HSC Builders & Construction Managers, Hatzel & Buehler, ID Griffith, BR+A Engineers, Ewing Cole, Med-Tex Services, Inc., and Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Integrated project delivery (IPD) is a collaborative alliance of people, systems, business structures and practices into a process that harnesses the talents and insights of all participants to optimize project results, increase value to the owner, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication, and construction.
Med-Tex is honored to take part in such a great event benefiting the lives of many families this holiday season. Jim Corrado, VP of Operations for Med-Tex Services, Inc. said: “We are extremely happy to support Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and the amazing work they do year-round.
