WILMINGTON, Del. (December 17, 2025) – Nemours Children’s Health today announced the promotion of Robert J. Mullen, PharmD, MBA, RPh, to the newly established role of Chief Pharmacy Executive.
In this new role, Dr. Mullen will lead the design, integration, and continuous improvement of pharmacy services across the Nemours Children’s Health multi-state enterprise. He will be responsible for aligning pharmacy strategies with enterprise goals, optimizing medication-use systems, and driving clinical excellence through technology, informatics, and evidence-based practice.

Dr. Mullen’s expanded role will support Nemours Children’s enhanced quality efforts and Whole Child Health strategy, helping deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality care to every child served, even when not within the hospital walls. He will continue as Vice President, Patient Operations, Delaware Valley, while expanding his leadership to guide pharmacy strategy and innovation across the enterprise.
