
WILMINGTON, Delaware – (Aug. 25, 2025) – Nemours Children’s Health, Delaware Valley, will host its inaugural Run & Walk on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 9 a.m. The family-friendly event features a 5K and Fun Run on the grounds of the Nemours Estate with a race route that will take runners, walkers, and rollers through French-inspired formal gardens and woodlands.
Proceeds from the event will support the Nemours Children's Compassionate Care Fund, dedicated to providing essential support for our caregivers as they treat critically ill and injured children.
Participants are encouraged to form teams and bring family and friends to enjoy the beautiful course and race day activities. Teams that raise $5,000 or more can designate their funds to support a department or program of their choice at Nemours Children's Health, Delaware Valley.
All 5K and Fun Run registrants will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher’s medal. Registration and event details can be found on the Nemours Children’s Health Run & Walk website.
