Daily’s Foundation Golf Tournament Raises $350,000 to Benefit Nemours Children’s Health System Cancer Care

Jacksonville, Fla. (Nov. 5, 2020) – The Daily’s Foundation recent two-day golf tournament and dinner raised $350,000 for Nemours Children’s Health System. These funds will go toward Hematology/Oncology at Nemours Children's Specialty Care, Jacksonville clinic. The event also supported other charitable causes.

Nemours Children’s Health System President and CEO Dr. Larry Moss spoke about the importance of community partners to help make the Nemours vision of redefining children’s health a reality.

This recent generous contribution underscores the deepening of Nemours and Daily’s partnership.”

At the dinner, Nemours cancer patient Caleb and his mother, Katie Musselwhite, shared the story of how he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at 18 months old. Now at age 4, he is stable, thanks to the help of his care team at Nemours Hematology/Oncology. 

“In this very challenging year, it was even more important for us to help improve the lives of children in our community,” said Aubrey Edge, President and CEO of Daily’s.

Daily’s recently launched an in-store fundraising campaign in 100 of their stores in Florida and North Carolina by which customers can donate at the register to support Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders until December 3.
