The money that the Daily’s Foundation raised from the Inaugural Charity Concert will have a tremendous impact on so many pediatric cancer patients and their families, said Maggie Hightower, Nemours Chief Philanthropy Officer

Jacksonville, Fla. (Dec. 10, 2019) – The Daily’s Foundation today awarded $352,347 to Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, Jacksonville. The funds were raised from proceeds from an inaugural charity concert featuring country music acts Brantley Gilbert, Michael Ray and Lindsey Ell at Daily’s Place in September. The Daily’s Foundation committed proceeds to Northeast Florida charities including Nemours.

At a special event, Aubrey Edge, President and CEO of Daily’s, presented the funds to Nemours Chief Philanthropy Officer Maggie Hightower. “I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for the support we have received from our community,” said Edge. “We look forward to an even bigger charity concert at Daily’s Place in 2020.”

“The money that the Daily’s Foundation raised from the Inaugural Charity Concert will have a tremendous impact on so many pediatric cancer patients and their families,” said Hightower. “We are so grateful for Daily’s vision and generosity to work hand in hand with Nemours to support children in need.”

These funds will support Nemours Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders (NCCBD), a destination for families seeking the very best cancer care, said Hightower.

Overall, the inaugural charity concert raised $502,347.
