Effective December 1st, Wade-Townend Associates has joined the Nemours Children’s Health System. Their new name will be Nemours duPont Pediatrics, Paoli, and this partners them with one of the nation’s largest and most respected pediatric health organizations, one nationally recognized for outstanding pediatric specialty care, research and education as well as being a voice for children’s health issues.

Headed by Stephen C. Townend, MD, the location at 255 West Lancaster Avenue, PA, remains the same, and all patients records will stay at their present location as well as being held by Nemours.

The practice now has added resources and access to state-of-the-art care and expertise along with the personal attention the practice is known for.

"We work together with you in caring for your child during good health as well as illness. Our providers strive to provide quality medical care for your children in a comfortable environment," says Dr. Townend, "We feel that childhood immunizations, good preventive care, and a common-sense approach to parenting are all essential for raising strong, happy, healthy children. We closely follow the guidelines put forth by the American Academy of Pediatrics for routine care and see patients newborn through age 18."
