ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 3, 2026) – Community leaders, city officials, and local residents gathered today for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new 7,000 square-foot Nemours Children’s Health primary care site in Winter Haven. Located at 1380 6th Street Northwest, Suite 6, in the Publix Super Market plaza at Northgate Shopping Center, the new primary care clinic replaces the previous Winter Haven location in Avenue K SE, doubling its size and increasing access to high-quality primary care services for the community.
“Our new, larger location in Winter Haven offers us an opportunity to expand the high-quality care we provide to children in the area,” said Martha McGill, BSN, MBA, MHA, Central Florida Region President of Nemours Children’s Health. “With more space to care for children in what is a convenient location, we are able to elevate pediatric care in the community.”
Services at the new location will include newborn care, well-child and sick-child exams, immunizations and physicals, behavioral evaluations, and more. The new site was designed to provide children and families with a comfortable, welcoming environment. Staffed by a team of skilled pediatric health care professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality patient and family-centered care, the new location will collaborate directly with nearby Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida, to provide comprehensive, personalized care.
