VERO BEACH, Fl. (Sept. 9, 2026) – Children and families in Vero Beach and the surrounding area now have a new, convenient option for their pediatric cardiac care needs with the opening of Nemours Children’s Health, North Vero Beach.
“Children and families deserve and expect world-class care, and the opening of the new cardiology clinic in Vero Beach is a significant step forward in enhancing cardiac care quality, increasing access, and elevating the experience for children in this region,” said Martha McGill, MBA, MHA, Central Florida Region President of Nemours Children’s Health.
Located at 3755 7th Terrace, Suites 301 and 304 in Vero Beach, the new 2,600-square-foot facility will offer a comprehensive array of cardiology services, including fetal echocardiograms, echocardiograms, electrocardiograms and cardiology consultations. With the opening of this new state-of-the-art clinic, Nemours Children’s moves cardiology services from a shared clinical space into a larger, more robust location.
“This new cardiology clinic reflects Nemours Children’s commitment and investment in the health and well-being of the communities it serves,” said Vanessa Hormaza, MD, pediatric cardiologist at Nemours Children’s Health, North Vero Beach. “As someone who calls this community home, I am proud to continue serving our children and families to ensure they get the cardiac care and support they need in a space dedicated to them.”
Nemours Children’s Health, North Vero Beach, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patient families can now schedule appointments for cardiac care by calling 407-650-7715.
