But sick kids can put a damper on travel. “Some of the top challenges that kids face during the holiday season can include respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal infections, sleep disruptions, dietary imbalance and travel fatigue,” says Robert Snyder, MD, Chief of Florida Primary Care for Nemours Children’s Health. Dr. Snyder gives tips for keeping kids healthy so parents—and the whole family—can enjoy traveling during the holiday season.
