Nemours Children’s Health Holds Toy Drive to Celebrate Halfway to the Holidays
Make a difference this summer season with donations

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 3, 2023) – In the spirit of summer, Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida is celebrating Halfway to the Holidays by collecting donations of toys and games for patients. These donated items will help to create a more playful environment for hospital stays. Nemours Children’s will be collecting donations through the entire month of July.

“Helping young patients cope with hospital stays includes our ability to reduce their stress through the use of developmentally appropriate toys, games and other items that can incorporate play into their healing,” said Certified Child Life Specialist Gloria Leyva. “At this time of year, like all others, we graciously accept monetary gifts and other donations.”

This year there are two donation options. Nemours Children’s is accepting gifts through our Holiday wish list or individual donations which allow us to purchase toys for patients. Donations can be made here.
