Wilmington, Del., (August 15, 2022) – Nemours Children's Health will host Night with Nemours —Taste of France gala on Saturday, September 17, 2022. In December 2021, the Surgeon General declared a children's mental health crisis. Recognizing the unmet need and the amplified emotional toll the last few years have had on children, proceeds from the gala will support the Nemours Children's Behavioral Health Program. According to the CDC, it is important to prevent problems, identify concerns early, and provide effective treatment to support lifelong mental health. As such, Nemours Children's Health is dedicated to promoting awareness and expanding access to high-quality behavioral health care now more than ever.
Tickets to the 15th Annual Gala include cocktails, wine, passed hors d'oeuvres and a roaming French-themed culinary journey complete with unmatched dinner and dessert stations. Live entertainment will fill the air as guests dance the night away under sailcloth tents at the picturesque, French-Inspired Nemours Estate.
“We are excited to welcome guests back for our first in-person gala since 2019,” said Kevin Carraccio, Senior Vice President of Philanthropy. “We look forward to being able to come together in a beautiful setting to enjoy each other’s company and extend our commitment to support the children and families of Delaware who have been and will be served by Nemours Children’s Health.”
Historically, more than 600 guests have attended this can't miss signature fundraiser annually. Since 2006, the event has raised nearly $6 million in critical funds for Nemours Children’s Health.
