Nemours Childrens Primary Care, Kinder Clinic Moves To New Location In Winter Haven

To better meet the growing needs of families in Polk County, Nemours Children’s Primary Care has relocated its Kinder Clinic practice to a new, more convenient location in Winter Haven, FL and hired a pediatrician to join Dr. Heather Whitworth at the practice.  On Monday, November 13, Nemours Children’s Primary Care, Kinder Clinic re-opened at its new location at 400 Avenue K SE, Suite 6, in Winter Haven.

Dr. Monica Thint, a board-certified pediatrician, joined the practice in October and along with Dr. Heather Whitworth will provide medical care to children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents.  Services provided include newborn care, well-child care, immunizations and school physicals, as well as treatment for illnesses and injuries and management of chronic medical conditions. Like Nemours’ other primary care practices, Nemours Children’s Primary Care, Kinder Clinic is a nationally certified Patient-Centered Medical Home.

"We are delighted to welcome Dr. Thint to the Nemours family.  She joins us at a wonderful time, as we celebrate the move into our updated Kinder Clinic practice," said Dr. Thomas Lacy, medical director for Nemours Children’s Primary Care.  "Not only has our Kinder Clinic practice provided exceptional health care to children in Winter Haven for many, many years, but the team there is known for being a comforting support to parents.  As soon as we met Dr. Thint, we knew she would be a great fit.”"

The new Nemours Children’s Primary Care, Kinder Clinic location is easy to reach and offers parking close to the door.  The address has changed, but the phone number remains the same:  (863) 299-4567.  Patients of the practice enjoy seamless access to all Nemours health services and pediatric specialists.
