emours continues commitment to region by recruiting top pediatric specialists
Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, a nationally ranked pediatric specialty care practice, is proud to welcome Sheryl De Leon-Dial, MD, to the gastroenterology department in Pensacola.
Dr. De Leon-Dial brings expertise and skills to Nemours acquired during her residency and fellowship training in pediatrics, coupled with a deep passion for gastroenterology. She will serve as one of more than 25 specialty care physicians in the region.
"Dr. De Leon-Dial’s exposure to research, along with her clinical and teaching experience has contributed to her becoming a well-rounded gastroenterologist," said Dr. Mary B. Mehta, Chief Medical Officer of Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, Pensacola. "She will be an asset to our team in Pensacola."
Dr. De Leon-Dial holds a medical degree from the University of the City of Manila in the Philippines. She began her career in pediatrics at the Harlem Hospital Center in New York and became board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2013. She most recently completed the fellowship program and sub-specialty training at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
