Window-Washing Santa and Elves Drop In on Patients at Nemours Children’s Hospital
"To see the kids happy is important. It’s something different, it’s not the usual when you’re going to a hospital, or to an appointment. I think having Santa here, is a great idea," says Samuel Alicea, father of Nemours patient, 13-month-old Aaliyah.

Orlando, FL - Santa and his Elves hung out at Nemours Children's Hospital, cleaning the windows and keeping the kids company while they waited for their appointments. The kids were excited to see the Big Guy and his Helpers repel from the building, pose for picturesm, play tic-tac-toe on the windows and even dance around while suspended in air. Meanwhile, Mrs. Claus was inside with the patients handing out holiday goodies and reading favorite holiday stories.

A1 Orange Exterior Building Service Co., Inc. has been providing services at Nemours since the hospital opened its doors in 2012. Since then, crews dress up twice a year. In the winter, Santa and his elves are spreading holiday cheer and in the summer, everyone’s favorite superheroes can be seen moving from floor to floor, making patients smile. Each time, Nemours patients and their families watch and cheer them on from their hospital rooms or while waiting for an appointment.
